UPDATE (5 Stars) I think it's about time for an update. Two years later and I can still say Teapioca Lounge still serves the best milk tea in Austin. My body has digested several Cream Green Teas. I've gone through many punch cards to get that one free drink. And despite my frequent visits, the staff still can't spell my name on the drink correctly...and I love it! The thing I love about Teapioca Lounge is that their drinks are consistent in taste. But there was one time I took an out-of-town friend here, telling him that this was THE spot for milk tea. We got our drinks and it was surprisingly bland. It lacked the flowery tea taste I was craving. I wasn't going to allow my friend to have this mediocre impression of this place, so I told a staff member about it. The staff member, Corinne, apologized and immediately made us two more Cream Green Teas. I took a sip, and my panic attack disappeared instantly. The flowery tea taste was back! Thanks Corinne! My friend took another sip, his eyes widened, and said "That's the sh*t!" ------------------------------------------------------------------------- (4 Stars) So far the best tapioca place in Austin I've been to. My go to's are the Tapioca Green Tea w/ Cream and the Tapioca Cream Tea. The tea tastes very flowery which I enjoy. The tapioca balls are just right in chewiness. I also tried their Mount Everest Snow Ice and was not a big fan of it. The red beans were too hard and under cooked. I recommend sticking with the drinks. They have trouble getting my name right to put on the drink...so I sometimes go with a pseudo name like "Bob" or "Willie".

Our new addiction at work. Bubble teas and more!! I especially love the watermelon icy. Tastes just like a cold watermelon without spitting seeds and getting all sticky. Try the almond pudding in your tea instead of the tapioca sometime. Less chewy and an interesting texture in a drink. Nice staff, free wifi, and they seal your drinks so no spillage when you go pick up drinks for the office during tea happy hour. Now offering Snow Ice. Not as many flavors as the wildly popular place on Braker but actually more topping offerings which I love.

The tapioca is always cooked to perfection. There is an enormous variety of options here. The staff is friendly but not sure about how they spell some common names. It's OK they get the order correct and that is all that matters. Its kind of pricey for a drink though. The atmosphere is fun and inviting. It tends to be a younger crowd hang out on the week days.

Holy crap this place is great! The whole time from ordering to getting our drinks the line was almost out the door but it didn't take long to receive our drinks and it was worth the short wait.

Great tea with boba. Similar to CA boba places.
