Great coffee, convenient hours, friendly barristas - my favorite coffee place in Austin!
I have been coming to this coffee shop for a little over a year now, if not 2. I really like their coffee and they have great service. You can often catch the owner up there on Sundays. They have an assortment of pastries from Ducks Bakery that are always super fresh and delicious. Their coffee is always strong and not overly sweet.
We met Travis this morning, and he couldn't have been more welcoming. He told us a little bit about what his specialties are, and gave us samples of both his scones and slushees. Most importantly, everything was terrific. There are even hula hoops and a sandbox for kids, along with plenty of picnic tables.
Coffee in most forms is delicious. The cappuccino at Elixer is on another level. Combine that with a scone from Quack's Bakery and you're going to have a great day. Even better, on Thursdays if you buy a pastry, you get a free coffee! Name a better deal than that. Coffee + breakfast pastry = amazing. And in this case, you're getting great coffee and great pastries.
