Steiner Ranch Steakhouse

We went here for the first time the other night to celebrate my father's birthday. I didn't have very high expectations as I'm not personally a steakhouse kind of guy. However, my father loves a really good steak though it's very hard to please him because he makes his own steaks and I've never seen him really enjoy one in a restaurant. For the first time that I can ever remember he really loved his Texas ribeye. On top of that the ambiance and view were extraordinary. I planned it so that we would arrive shortly before sunset and was not disappointed with the incredible view. This is definitely the place to go if you want a top notch experience. They have different rooms with different themes designed to match the type of event or mood. They have a brand new glass room with a view and the glass doors open up if the weather is nice and it's amazingly romantic. The fire pits outdoors on the casual balcony with entertainment are very laid back but upscale. We sat in the piano room where everything seemed very traditional and where they can sing happy birthday to my father. Since my father plays piano and my daughter sayings they both got up and got to play and my daughter sing along. The whole room clapped and it was a very special experience.
Home of amazing sunsets. I've spent many wonderful evenings here with friends, listening to live music and dancing. One friend even got married here. The food is really good; however, the prices on both food and drinks have skyrocketed. It gets crazy crowded and the staff has a tough time keeping up with patrons when there's a popular band playing.

This place is beautiful!!! Gorgeous views. Floor to ceiling windows with a great view of the lake and hills. We took our out of town coworkers here for a business dinner and it was perfect. The servers were very attentive and made sure the cocktail hour, apps, entree and dessert were well timed. Appetizers - We had seared ahi tuna, toronadas (like bruschetta), and fried quail legs for our appetizer/cocktail hour. I don't typically like raw fish but the ahi tuna was my favorite! Entree - I had the filet and it was perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked. We shared sides - broccoli, LOBSTER MAC, and mashed potatoes. As you can tell the lobster mac was my favorite and they did not skimp on the lobster. Dessert - Bourbon bread pudding. The sauce on top of the bread pudding made the dish. Excellent view, attentive service, outstanding food. Go here for your next date!!
First time and we loved everything about this place. The food was amazing as was the view, & service. We are not accustomed to spending $200 on a meal for 2 of us, but was worth every cent.
