The Patriot Steakhouse and Tavern
Reviews
Went to your steak house this Saturday and found the food excellent and the service was outstanding. Our server Laura N could not have been more helpful and as a first time diner there with a handicap companion the evening was delightful.. The only downside was a mater of temperature as it was very cold inside which detracted from the enjoyment of the meal. All in all it would have been one of the most enjoyable dinners except for the temp.
I had the pulled pork platter and it was the best I ever had. My wife had the filet mignon and she thought that it the best she ever had as well. Definitely coming back, the server was very nice as well. Not sure why other are rating it so bad because we would recommend it to our friends.
Hello. I am one of a steady number of "regular" patrons of your establishment. Usually on Friday evenings after work I stop in for dinner and a drink. It's my treat to having survived another long week at work. This past weekend, I had company in from out of town. On Saturday, June 8th, we had played 18 earlier in the day and were looking forward to a good steak or ribs at the Patriot. Having been greeted and seated we were perusing our menus when quite suddenly our sights were distracted by a large, life sized naked inflatable female figure being passed across the tops of the heads of a large party who were seated adjacent to us. To say this was in poor taste doesn't even begin to describe their behavior and may I add that I was embarrassed, shocked and offended at the minimum? Their raucous laughter, cat calls and suggestive photo ops only added to my conclusion that they were culturally ignorant, colloquially coarse and poor clientele for your business. I felt so sorry for the elderly couple that were seated next to us. The poor woman couldn't lift her eyes from her plate and her husband appeared to be very embarrassed for her discomfort as well. In also felt sorry for your wait staff that endured the base comments, etc. with as much aplomb as could be mustered under the circumstances. One can only assume that the vinyl virgin was carried in and inflated on premise as I don't imagine "she" would have been allowed access had the staff seen her in her 'naturale' state. I am very disappointed and it will be a long time before I venture into your restauraunchy again!
It was great to hear that Lebanon, Ohio as the County Seat now has a decent steakhouse after doing without all this time. Unfortunately, Lebanon is still lacking a decant steakhouse. My family, party of nine, ate there last night. I pick the Patriot as the place have my wife's birthday dinner. I was a first time visitor. How was it? A bit pricey compared to steakhouses like Logan's, Longhorn & Texas Roadhouse. But, it deserved a shot, the place is themed to honor veterans & I've been told give active service people discounts. They need that discount if they're going to have a steak, even the little 4 oz. Fillet. They bragged on the menu about their Steakhouse Chili. I had a bowl & couldn't finish it. So loaded with Jalapenos, it dominated the favor of anything else in the bowl. What I could taste was good, but for the price, I've had better, cheaper. The great salads? Iceberg salad was heavy in chunks of stalk that was very chewy, a few overripe Grape Tomatoes to throw out of the bowl & Onions were very strong like maybe they were getting old. I opted for the Grilled Chicken as nobody wanted to pay the high price for one of the steaks offered. I convinced my wife to get a steak. It was her birthday & it is a steakhouse. Due to the cost, she wouldn't go for anything above the 4 oz. Fillet with Baked Potato. I received my Grilled Chicken & had eaten about half ( a small piece of breast ) & discovered a long strand of dark hair on the breast. Kind of an appetite killer, so dessert was off the table & out of mind. After the bill for came amounting to over $150 dollars, not counting tip ( the girl did a good job ) I think it was a mediocre experience at best. No, I didn't complain about the hair. I've seen people complain about their food to get the bill cut down or shoot for free food. As I had eaten a little over half, I didn't want to be considered a cheapskate trying to duck the tab. My solution is to dine with my family & spend my money elsewhere. Patriot steakhouse is a disappointment & overpriced. I probably will go somewhere else now that I've tried this place.
The service is always good. Yes, take your date here.
