I want to love Saxby's, but the time it takes to get my drink every time (at least 20 times, so it's consistent) is just way too long. I am finally inspired to write this review, after waiting at least 10-15 minutes in the drive thru line. There were only two cars in front of me. The one behind me got fed up and pulled away after waiting so long, I don't blame him. Their coffee (I am an espresso fiend) is good but it seems that at least 3 times out of 10 my espresso tastes burnt, which really ruins my drink. The other 7 out of 10 times, though, they do a great job. I really appreciate that they have sugar free chocolate syrup/sauce, and I also really like their membership/rewards card. Their employees are always friendly, and I want to tip them, but I just can't even bring myself to after waiting SO long for my coffee. I have worked as a barista before, so I feel that I have a good gauge on how long it should take, and it is just an extreme wait nearly every time. Speed it up Saxby's, and you'll have 100% of my coffee business instead of 50%, and my dollar bills in your tip jar!
Good coffee, good service, TERRIBLE FOOD. Its worse than what you would expect to get at a truck stop or equivalent
The Frolatte's are incredible.
