For years we have stacked up on Ready Snax excellent fruit and veggies snack paks, The Stop N shop @ 80 Route 6 Baldiwn Place has stopped bringing these in despite our constant requests that these be reinistated. We have requested for the Snax packet which contains hummus, celery,carrots be re instated (it has been more than a year since they discontinued these) and despite their promise to us by the store managers that they will order it for us.. on the contrary.. they now stopped bringing all the other assorted fruit and veggie pakets all togehter. would someone please get these reinstated for us? Stop and Shop on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie. Large aisles, huge selections. Very well maintained. However the Service is very poor. The cashiers tend to gather and have their own little conversations and ignore shoppers. If you have a problem with the self checkout they get annoyed at having to walk over to help you. I've never seen a manager walking about. I don't normally shop here but this is the impression I am given everytime I shop here. I'd rather go to Stop and Shop on Burnett Blvd, where the management and service is infinitely better.
I would have given five stars...in fact, this is the only supermarket I will go to, however, there is one cashier that is so mean and nasty that it can almost ruin your shopping experience....and I really do enjoy going food shopping...oh well too bad
