We stayed in Santa Rosa for 3 days. Every morning we ate breakfast here. As far as cafes go, this place is fantastic. The best thing about this place is the coffee. I couldn't believe how good it was. On the road, you get used to coffee flavored water. Denny's coffee resembles sock water. Route 66 Restaurant has the best coffee I've ever had in a cafe. Every meal I had here was delicious. I would drive out of my way just to eat here.
HORRIBLE SERVICE. I left after 15 minutes of sitting in that little restaurant with not one person speaking to me, no drink, not even a menu. As I was walking out, the lady at the front desk showed no remorse and gave me a story about how she had been working all day. Well guess what, so had I. She said "So do you want something to eat?" I reply No. She replies " Ok, bye"
Service was friendly but slow. The food was nothing special probably prepackaged. There was water in the bottom of our salad bowels. And, the boot he's weren't that clean.
