its a dive w/ good food cold beer
My husband and I both really enjoyed the food and the margaritas.
This was the most disappointing meal we had on our trip. The history of the restaurant is interesting but the forefathers must be rolling in their graves! Unkept, dirty (just look up). Poor service and basically run-down. This place is one of the few eateries in this town. Was BAD all around. Long wait and not very busy (early dinner Monday). We received a beef dip that was not even cuttable with a knife and then replaced with a grilled cheese that had melted plasic that was around the ham. This taste stayed in my mouth for hours. What a shame!!!!
Having stopped here every few years on our regular drives to Albq., we always found Joseph's a pleasant Route 66 stop. A tad gritty, but good green-chile chicken enchiladas.
The food was good better than eating fast food. I like getting off the road a little . Kinda wish I would have tried the rt 66 diner also to see which was better
