I was tired and starving when I stopped. You know one of those days you have NO patience. The food was arrived super quick! It was ok. If you are hungry you will eat it but its not really memorable.q Although, I asked for 3 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans and couldnt even eat half the plate. The portions were generous and the service, well it was fantastic! Very amicable, very nice. They also sell pizza in the back so if youre with kids mex/pizza is a good mix.
Food was OK. They use the same food to make different combos of dishes. There is no real creation. The dish that I liked the most today was the the Acapulco potato skins. Something to try. Their coconut pie (best seller) did not impress me much. They are short staffed though. Not sure if there are other restaurants in the area. We were just visiting the Blue Hole.
We had Enchilada Especial, Green Chile soup, and a Sopapilla -- all were excellent. Service is friendly.
Perfect route 66 restaurant, available veggie options, friendly staff, owner is around to make sure you are well taken care off. You can also find souvenirs at their shop, cheers
