As you walk into the doors of the Roswell Rib Crib, you feel a part of the family. Let's put it this way... the only reason I would ever want to come back to Roswell, NM is for this restaurant. The food is exquisite, the decor is homey, and the service is fast, friendly, and fun. I am a Crib Ranger.
Meh. We went for lunch, as we're on a budget and wanted to try a new place at low cost. We got the lunch special, 2 meats and 1 side, and split it. We added an order of St. Louis Ribs for $2.49. The ribs were definitely the best part of the meal. The sliced brisket was dry and bland. The smoked sausage was good, but tasted exactly like any polska kielbasa from a grocery store. The seasoned fries we got as the side (easy to share) were remarkably crispy but again, a bit bland. The ribs, though... they were rich and spicy and frankly did the name Rib Crib justice. Point taken - if you go there, don't mess around, get ribs. And a side more "southern BBQ" than fries. The sauces at the table were good, and saved the brisket. I had the hot BBQ and the Carolina BBQ, and both were yum. May try again sometime.
Ribs night (Tuesdays) is the best time and plate to have. Yes it's a little pricie but worth it. This Rib Crib has the bet waiter of all times Mark:) if u go there make sure and request him!
Very very good food. Waitress was really nice. Cost was good, plates were hefty. Yummy yummy
Theplace is nice, we were seated next to the kitchen and saw the tray with our food stay there for almost ten minutes, we brought it up to the attention of the server and the manager was very apologetic, we recommend the food, but customer service needs improving
