Had awesome service and a great server. Jamal was the best server I think I have ever had in all of my dining experiences and made a special day even better by simply being himself and made the dining experience that much better. Service like this should be the rule. I would highly recommend going here and enjoying the experience.

Good, not great, barbeque but will do when you have a craving. I ordered a mixture of meats to get an idea of how they do. The burnt ends are crispy, semi moist, and chock full of flavor. Ribs were full of flavor but they don't fall off the bones like they should. The spicy sausage was tender, had just the right spice and was very tasty. Beef brisket was so-so, some pieces were tender and juicy and others were very tough and chewy. The boneless wings were tasty and had really good flavor. My favorite would be the burnt ends, they were well done and mostly what you expect. They do a great job with sides, the potato salad, cole slaw and beans are full of flavor and just how grandma made them. I received excellent service, my waitress was attentive and very helpful in selecting a meal. Great atmosphere, feels like you are in a cabin out in the woods somewhere. All in all its very good and I will go back but if you want the best barbeque, the mom and pop shops tend to be the best.

I CAN NOT BELIEVE, THE MNGMT/ OWNER CHANGED SERVING SIZES AND THE MENU, LIKE THE BRISKET... I'VE BEEN GOING THERE MY ENTIRE LIFE, AND HELPED MAKE THAT RESTURAUNT WHAT IT HAS BECOME. WELL NOW HE/ THEY ARE TOO BIG FOR THEIR BRITCHES, SWITCHING PORTION SIZES AND INGREDIENTS. I.E. BAKED BEANS, I SPENT OVER $800.00 A YR THERE. I WILL NEVER GO BACK.... EVER... ITS JUST NOT THE SAME. I WOULD RECOMMEND SOME PLACE ELSE. ITS JUST NOT WORTH IT...

I have been eating at Famous Daves for years in Omaha. The last 10 times I have been to this Lincoln location have been horrible. I always order the same item and they cook it wrong every time. They remake it but haven't once offered any type of discount or refund. The employees appear to be very unhappy and provide terrible service. They get angry if something goes wrong and huff if they have to lift one finger to help the customer. The managers are not much better and explains why the wait staff and servers have bad attitudes. I have stayed away for the last 6 months but decided to go back reluctantly and was treated with the same poor service and bad attitude that has been common place my last 10 visits. I don't have any problems with service quality from the Omaha locations. I will never be back to this location. With their high prices they should realize that the customer should be their top priority. Just received my wings and they were undercooked again. They just can't get it right. This supports my review.

Went there with my husband, two daughters and a boyfriend. The food as always was excellent. Got the large family platter meal and ended up with way more than we could eat. Love the cornbread and brisket and ribs especially. I do wish they would turn down the volume on the music so we could carry on a conversation where everyone can hear each other at the table. The service was good, but I never got a refill on my water.
