The Flying Shamrock
Reviews

The food its amazing! I don't understand why the place its so empty during lunch, their service its great and the food its just delicious. I will definitely keep going...!

I love this place! When I lived in Raleigh, Tir Na Nog was my Irish Pub hangout. When I saw a pub coming to Goldsboro, I was so excited. I'm older now, so I don't hang out at bars much any more, however the times I have been here, service at the bar, or for food, was immediate, excellent, and accurate. The food was hot, the quality was excellent, and it was delicious. There is a wide range of drinks to choose from, but Harp Lager is my go to. And this place was one of the first to open on John Street, leading a revival of downtown (business and nightlife). There are now several restaurants and bars on John and Center Streets, but this was one of the pioneers. Definitely stop in here if you're in town. Get here early for good parking though, especially when they have a live band.

over priced. 1.25 for a game of pool and 5 bucks just to rent darts. I can see why this place was dead on a Friday night

We have been going to the pub since it opened. We enjoy it very much. We are regulars and part of the Shamrock family. The food is just as good as other pubs. They have a limited kitchen and do the best with what they have. I have only great things to say about the staff. Good as gold.

Go here for the atmosphere and friendly service.
