Food good, a bit overpriced, but it's not a chain and one should support small business. The sister site, laughing owl has gone downhill in service and quality since its inception. Been back several times hoping it was a fluke, however, sadly it was not.
Me and my husband loved it! It has moved to the Laughing Owl location (2 restaurants in 1 with same owner). Mature environment that is great for a night out with friends or date night!!
Service was terrible! We had a group of around 15 for a birthday dinner. First, the owner gave me a hard time about keeping the cake in their fridge. Second, our waitress was nice but we could tell she was very inexperienced which is fine but the management shouldn't put her alone at a group our size. So after waiting around 30min the owner/manager came out to place our order. Eventually our food came around an hour or so later. Food was not great at all. and to top it all of the owner charged us an extra $5 to hold the cake in the back and a $15 charge to use their plates. Not impressed and not planning to go back.
It was a really bad experience! My daughters 19th BD dinner was held there.The restruants atmosphere was uncomfortable and just plan gross.The service was so unprofessional and the food was not good at all.We had a party of 12 And it evidently overwhelmed them . My familay and friends will not & have not returned!
I ordered sesame chicken and received the smallest portion of food I have ever received, for more than any other Asian restaurant in the area. I then tasted my food and it was horrible. I ate half of one chicken nugget and told management that I was not happy with the food. Instead of offering me any suggestion (or even some sauce to drown it in) the owner (I can't remember her name) said that I had eaten all of my food and therefore there was nothing she could do. I ate half a chicken ball! She was loud and rude, right off the bat. I have worked in the service industry for more than a decade and was shocked at the way she handled the situation. I will not go there or recommend the place.
