I ordered the salsa verde shredded brisket nachos...Basically a basket of chips with about a spoonful of whatever else goes on it. Brisket?! I think I may have come across a sliver or two
Probably couldn't find a worse time to try a new-to-me restaurant than end of shift on Mother's Day; this branch of Applebee's came through with shining colors. Wait staff was (still) friendly, food was good, facility was clean. We ate from the 2-for-$20 menu; respectable and not overwhelming amount of food for the money. Access from our house is unfortunately, a left turn across a difficult intersection that doesn't have a stop light. However, we'll add Applebee's to the list when we're in the mood for what they serve. Good value for Goldsboro.
Awesome Service
Not going here again! I have been here for three years now and have had the displeasure of eating this restaurant's food three times as well. The first time I ate here, in 2009, was in the restaurant and the service wasn't too bad but the food was horrible; it actually put me off the place until Jan of 2012. I wouldn't have gone back but I had some gift cards for this restaurant chain so had no choice to eat the food again. Decided to get the curbside takeout the last two times. To use the total of the two cards we ordered from here two times and the food hadn't changed a bit from two years ago. I actually thought of going to the manager and telling him/her that I would work there just so the food would be edible. Most of the restaurants here in Goldsboro have horrible cooks but at least I can eat the food from the other places but the last dish I got from this place I refused to eat. Find some other place to spend your hard earned money!
My waitress, Lovey is Fantastic! The food is always great!
