I love me some JCS the best seafood hands down sorry RED LOSTER
It should have been a sign when the place was not busy around 1 p.m. Friendly staff, pleasant introductions. I had eaten here a few years ago, but I was disappointed in the food yesterday. The bacon wrapped shrimp were over cooked. The cheesy potatoes had an unpleasant texture and were bland, even with the cheese and bacon, the taste was off. The biscuit was very bland and lacked good flavor, it did not taste like a fresh biscuits. I was really disappointed in the food.
I really enjoyed my meal with only one small complaint. My shrimp that came with my crab boil was over-cooked. Other than that everything was delicious. Definitely not like seafood from the gulf or the East or West coast but for the Midwest it was very good and enjoyable. However, be prepared to spend between $20 and $30 a person (not including drinks, appetizers, or dessert. But really, the portions are good and you shouldn't need an appetizer or dessert to feel full).
Well i never been but everybody keeps saying it is good .well i will be the judge of that becaues i going friday to see if it is that good.!!!!!!!!
