I have been here a number of times recently, each time getting worse results than the previous visit- I doubt I'll give it another chance. The sad thing about it is that I think their food is wonderful and some of the best as far as fast food goes. They give too-small portions at an over-priced cost. For example, on my last visit, I ordered a 6 piece chicken tender meal, electing to upgrade my drink to a small shake, along with a large fry and 2 Dilly Bars (which are free with kids meals and therefore, one of the lowest process items on the menu). The "large" fry I ordered was only half full. When I asked the teenage that was helping me if he would fill the fries, I was told a serving was only level to the top, not overflowing... (he later informed me that he was the "manager"). I explained that I understood and wasn't expecting overflowing, but a single French fry stocking up out of the top did not deem it as "level". So, how much did the 1 meal (with upgraded drink to a small shake), 1 large fry, 2 ice creams on a stick and 1 headache cost me??? $30! Uh uh... I was NOT happy. After arriving home and unloading the bag, I found that the chicken meal didn't even have the fry, so even after everything and all the frustration, I had to drive back to DQ, go inside and waste more time and gas to get the fries that went with my chicken (cold by the time I was finally able to eat them). Aside from the prices and serving issues, I also have had a consistent problem with the service. I can deal with the 10 minute wait for your food (in the drive-thru) because I am assuming it's good food and waiting means it's fresh, right? Yet time and time again, both inside and in the drive-thru, it seems like the delay is a direct result of being ignored and employees chatting about everything but work. Finally, I feel there should be some customer service training provided to the employees by the management because it is seriously lacking! Prior to my last (and most likely, final) visit I have never complained, always been respective kind and polite despite the disappointment in service, yet I have never received a smile. Often in the drive-thru, I didn't even get acknowledged with a single word at the window until the end- it often goes like this: -I pull up to the window and wait a couple minutes -window opens and the employees takes my cash our card that I've been holding in my hand and then suss the window -window opens, employee hands my card back and shuts the window again (still not a word spoken) -after a minimum of 5 min or so, window opens, food and drink comes out -quick "Thanks" mumbled from employee (FINALLY A WORD!) before closing the window- which is also often before I can ask for ketchup, or a straw, or a napkin... -I wait until someone notices me sitting there and opens the windowso I can finally get my condiments. Basically, much too much is left un desirable. I like the food much, much better than McDonald's, but I will stop there on my way thru town instead of DQ. Why? I don't know a single person who works at either location, but I do know that I can always get at the Zumbrota McDonalds what I can't at the DQ: Service with a smile.

It was THE worst DQ blizzard I have ever have, my son got a strawberry sundae and a piece of hair was on it.... If I wasn't rushed for time I would have taken it all back we had to throw the food away. Never again.

The ice cream was very tasteless, something out of a cheap frozen ice cream machine. The serving size was a small even though I paid for a medium and lastly I waited for over a minute before being helped while one kid out front talked about his grand parents n 3 girls in the back did nothing important....except not paying attention. I will not be returning to this location
