Great little family-owned coffee shop. Very relaxed, awesome employees, great coffee, nice selection of other drinks, sandwiches, and ice cream.
If you sit at Java Moose for an hour, you will pretty much get to see a large cross-section of Grand Marais traipse through, exchanging greetings and news, chatting, shooting the breeze. This is THE place in town for informal meetings. It's also where you go when you need access to free wifi for a little while, such as when the women's group is gathered in your living room and your wife boots you out. More news gets distributed at Java Moose than the WCCO newsroom.
Only made a short stop here in november 2010. Great coffee, great service, WiFi and relaxed! Liked it!
