I loved my burger and sweet potato fries but my husband wasn't too thrilled with the meatloaf. The experience was great and the beer selection was quite good! :)
We had a wonderful time here. Wonderful people wonderful atmosphere wonderful everything. I ordered a steak for 20 dollars expecting an average steak it was the best dang steak I have ever had. When it first came out all there was to cit the steak was a butterknife I was wondering where my steak knife was I didnt even need it, cut through with the butterknife and tasted wonderful. Wish there was one closer to me.
Don't send food back, whatever you do. They will argue about it and insist you pay for it. Talking to a few locals about our experience, this doesn't seem to be out of the ordinary...
We been here many times, in the slow season and busy season, but the experience we had the week of the 4th was TERRIBLE. Our food took 1.5 hours, need I say more. People came and went before us... and when my wife talked to the young blonde 5' 7" "Manager" she had the gull to tell my wife that we had not waited that long and our food was coming. The waitress admitted there was a screw up in the kitchen and for our long wait, for a group of 9 we got 10% off. When my father in law tried to talk very calmly about how absurd 10% was, not to mention her snotty attitude she remarked, "What would you like me to do sir...?" What is really sad is they were some good competition for the Ely Steak House- which is known for being a bunch of rude people, now there are two restaurants like this in town….? Go to Stoney Ridge….
Our food was very tasty and the blueberry dream cake was to die for!! I am looking forward to visiting again when our family heads to Ely next year.
