Can't hardly pass this by when travelling back in forth on vacation in Ely. Drive through is a little tight if you are pulling a boat, but can be done. Have enjoyed it for years. Would have been rating 3 for quality, but last visit the cones we not up to standards, mostly because the temperature must have been wrong on the soft serve machine letting the ice cream melt before it hit my hand. I am sure this was temporary. Highly recommended based on all other visits.
The Ely family-owned DQ is super-friendly. The owners have even added the heavenly Pumpkin Pie Blizzard as a year-round option by popular request! It may not be on the menu, but ask for it by name. That makes my taste buds super-happy after a dogsled or canoe trip!
