loved it. It is where the locals eat. I recommend it if boy scout canoeing.
The food was delicious and super filling. Pricing is fair. Portions are HUGE! The pancakes are the size of a plate. Only downside is it is super popular so the wait was over an hour. Highly recommend
I get to Ely about once a year and eat out for breakfast about once. When I go next year, I will go to Britton's. Walked in this year and it looked like 90% of the crowd was locals during peak season. Every table that I passed when going to mine I wanted to sit down at because everything looked great and everybody was gobbling up the food. My inexpensive omelet was a monster that I barely finished and was superb. Owner dropped by to say hi and refill coffee.
I ordered a western omelette and asked for wheat toast. Waitress asks, "homemade or store-bought?" I am definitely in the right place...
Bests meals ever & more for a perfect price. Stuffed Hash Browns are to die for!!
