My family and I live near by, we go there often but they overcook their burgers - EVERYTIME! They have quality meat but if you ask for medium, it will be well done, if you ask for medium rare- it will be well done. You pay $9.00 for a burger, it should be prepared the way you like it. Just get the fries, they are good. One more thing, I drink Bacardi rum, I ask for bacardi but get well rum, Been drinking it for 30 years but they swear its Bacardi- bring a flask and ask for soda-
Our first time, we waited 35 min for a table, happily I might add. They sat us within 6 feet of a door. It's -16 out right now and we were the closest, but they shoved several spare tables against this open door because they were busy. They had 3 other entrances/exits that could have been used. If they wanted the extra seating, they should have locked that door. When I spoke to the owner (the manager refused to come over), he said it was our fault, we shouldn't have sat there! I asked if he knew what the fire code was about tables close to the entrance (it's 20 ft) he said no! But claimed he couldn't lock that door because it was AGAINST the fire code, so I guess he only learned half of the code. Anyway, he couldn't care less that we absolutely froze the whole time and our OK food was cold in 30 seconds. We won't be back. As the daughter of a bar owner who was in business for over 45 years, you treat your patrons better than that!!
Waitress was fine and so was service... Downside is that I ordered a burger medium it came back well done. I politely sent it back for a redo and cook is like " what do you mean he wants it recooked?, what do you mean is not medium did he ask for it medium?" Beef was cooked bone dry no pink just dry.... Smh so was the second one... Big bummer
Dirty bathrooms. Hate to see what the kitchen looks like.
Great food and drinks especially the draft beer selection. The service can sometimes be hit or miss but most of the time it is good.
