a good hookah joint. emphasis on joint. good hookah without a lot of bell's and whistles. you can get ice water and fruit heads but those are gimmicks at any hookah place. anyone who tells you it makes a significant difference is lying to themselves or you...and yes i'm quite the connoisseur. prices are a bit high...but my reference point is 360 lounge and grill in dearborn which is almost 2/3 the price on average..hookahmist is in fact better than average for the ann arbor area. the atmosphere is very laid back and informal, like a friend's living room or game room. the staff is friendly and attentive. the place could really use renovation, the ambience is low budget (geared towards college students), with beat up furniture and cheap tables. the young clientele, and thus the music, are ghetto; they go hand in hand and i suppose it's largely out of the establishment's control.
overall it's a good bargain hookah joint with great hookah, just wish they were a bit more of a bargain.
