I'm giving them a couple of extra stars because they're awesome enough to host Nerd Nite, and since I'm not their usual clientele the rest of the month. That said, as a bar, it's terrible. Let's start with their beer selection. It's 100% bottles and cans of big macro junk. It's 2014, and they don't have a single craft beer available in the place. They had a few decent bottles of liquor, so I decided to go with a whiskey sour instead. Suspicion confirmed: a shot of whiskey, topped with sour mix that isn't sour out of the soda gun. Gross, ok, next drink let's be safe, a scotch on the rocks. Should have done it neat, they filled the whole glass up with tiny ice cubes that diluted it before I ever had a taste. As I ordered, I overheard someone beside me reminding the bartender that their drink was supposed to have bitters in it. "Hmm, I don't see any here, they must have moved that downstairs..." Speaking of which. The sting of this was worse knowing that downstairs, from the same owners, is what's probably the finest cocktail bar in the region - The Last Word. I'm not asking for much. Keep a stock of some Two Hearted or Founders Porter or something. Anything.
Always have an awesome experience at LIVE. They have a big dance floor (usually packed) and the DJs are always killing it. It's the go-to spot after bar hopping on the weekends. Plus they're always so damn friendly!
I was for no reason aggressed, attacked, or humiliated by the absolute and most disgusting and intolerant staff of Texas Department of Defense. This has left me with a large distrust with the units that give me the value except those . ENDIF = X. J By my 10th golf experienced by the staff game I should be the most advanced player on the team.
Fantastic dance floor, hot sweaty beats and DJs mix like their lives depended on it. Bottle service rocks and VIP Areas make this just an awesome experience.
I really love this place. The cocktails are fantastic. The music is great and the staff is always nice.
