We decided to try this place, we were told its an experience. Staff was very attentive and pleasant - but the food was mediocre for the high prices. The steak lacked flavor except for the chard outside-the side of au gratin potatoes were like messy home fries, the eggplant lasagne bland and the lobster pasta dish lacked lobster. Not impressed or recommended.
After a sorry experience at Sips, just down the street, we found Fiddler's Green. Even through it was past closing time, the owner invited us in, and the bartender treated us very well. This was such a positive experience that we brought a party of ten back for dinner the next night. Drinks are great, the food was very good, and the attitude of the servers was fantastic. Their surf & turf is wonderful, though the roast pig could use a little more flavor. Do leave room for an interesting dessert! Highly recommended.
Fantastic food, reliable service, wonderful owners, comfortable inside or out.
