Grumpy is more than just a name...it's how this overpriced place deals with customer complaints. Ordered French Toast ($7.95 for two slices). Took forever (although the place was nearly empty) and when food finally arrived it was cold (yech). When I mentioned this to waitress she said they were doing the best they could. Huh?

Beautiful scenery and very nice waitress served us and let us bring our dog in.the pancakes were HUGE and were amazing.
Husband and I ate there for breakfast, and although they did not have a few things we asked for, it is because the things were not in-season and if the ingredients do not look up to the chef's standards, he does not buy or serve them. Gotta respect that. I asked for salsa for my omelette, and he did not have any. A few minutes later, the waitress came out with a small serving of chopped tomatoes, onions, cilantro (homemade salsa) - and said it was from him and the "best he could do." It was awesome! I thought that was above and beyond. Then I noticed they did charge me $2 for it. Breakfast for 2 of us with tip was close to $30 but you get what you pay for: all ingredients are fresh and the meals are made-to order, service is excellent too.
