Excellent food for the corner bar. The service isn't always the greatest, but, that can normally be a function of the amount of people in the bar. Go early & you'll find the regulars at the bar with plenty of seating available & good service. Diverse menu & reasonably priced. The waffle fries are excellent & are a part of many of the offerings. Note that the menu is based upon the Bay and it's normal fare.
My favorite place for so many years! We used to come to Tunes after getting off work and have a few beers and fun shots. I've always loved their food--from the mussels to the asparagus, chicken stuffed with crab and covered in mac n cheese, salads, and even the fish taco special they had going last week. You MUST get the garlic bread! Seriously, garlic bread is the absolute best. It's covered in extremely delicious spices and is buttery and thick. It's just so damn irresistible. It's tiny and quaint, but a blast at night. You have a nice mixture of locals, young ins, and tourists. Fairly priced, too.
Good food. Got the Tuna Bites and the Blackened Scallop Sandwich. The Tuna Bites were pretty good (3 stars). The Blackened Scallop Sandwich was DELICIOUS (4.5 stars). The service is what you would expect from a small pub - like restaurant. It's not slow, but not fast; kinda laid back. The waitress was very friendly. It is a bit pricey, but it's seafood. That's to be expected. If I'm ever in the area again, I would eat here.
The food was great. Tuna was the best/freshest I've had in a while. They also had some very cool beer options on tap.
Their pizza was fantastic as always! Also tried the seafood biscuit last night, HOLY COW it was unbelievable!
