Horrible service. Our appetizer came out with our dinner. The food was nasty. The manager was supposed to comp the steak. That did not happen. It took over 20 minutes to get the check. To top things off our table was not the only table having issues. I wish I had read the reviews for this restaurant before I wasted my money. I called the next day and spike with the manager who was suppose to comp my meal and she was ghastly. She denied saying she would comp the steak. I highly recommend driving elsewhere before ever dining at this location. Management is rude and lie on what they say; I would also never use them to clean trash on the side of the road let alone cook for me ever again.
The food itself was great. The service however was horrible. Our waitress didn't come and check on us periodically at all. I ordered a cream of crab soup, and everyone else at the table who ordered(3 orders of soup) received theirs, but me. The waitress said she would be bringing mine to the table, but never did. When she finally came back to the table, everyone was already done with their soups, and I no longer wanted it. We had to send a busboy to look for our waitress to even get a refill of water and lemonade. We talked to the manager and she did nothing at all about this. She said she would talk to the waitress but that was it....no sorry, or what can I do to make it better. The worst part is the mandatory 18% tip for a party of 6 or more. She didn't even deserve a 10% tip...and not an 18%. Food was great...but service and management was horrible. I would recommend carry out as though that way you don't have to deal with horrible service hopefully...

Great food, excellent value. Crab dip delivered steaming hot and tasted perfect. Fresh salad greens made a good course. The entrees rocked, both the coconut shrimp and the stuffed flounder. The signature drinks complemented the meal. The service timeliness lacks something. We wanted a good meal and didn't have a set schedule but we did notice drinks and food didn't quite flow. The quality of the food made up for the lack of timeliness but it's a factor.
I've been to Mangos quite a few times, and have found the food decent, atmosphere nice, great live music from time to time, but there is one thing that I am displeased with: THE SERVICE! The service is some of the worst I have ever seen. The first time I went the bar tender had a dog behind the bar with her, she was too concerned with her new puppy to pay attention to someone at the bar...she left my food sit out while bugs landed on it (it was outside) while she played with her puppy and chatted with a friend. The second time I went was slightly better but extremely slow. No one at this bar knows how to serve/bar tend efficiently. The most recent trip was with my husband. We had a very small tab becaues we were forced to wait 30 min plus for 1 drink. He paid out the tab with cash and left the bar tender a nice tip because we understand the service industry. The bar tender returned the card and we went on our way. A week later we realized the account we had used had not only been charged, but a tip was added to the charge, and it had caused two overdrafts on our account,wihch we keep a low balance in, and don't use often. We have repeatedly called this establishment to get the issue resolved, but the owner/manager is too busy to call back customers, or train employees properly. All I have to say is this place is one of the most horrible establishments I have ever been to based on the horrible service, and the rudeness of an owner to not call back a paying customer that was wrongly charged. At this point I am forced to dispute the charge instead of having the issue resolved correctly. I think this person deserves to lose their restaurant and it won't take long...I'm sure their profit margine is down because their bartenders/servers can't get drinks/food out quickly enough for people to stick around. My suggestion: don't go here.
