honestly don't get all the rave reviews. We got a beef flat bread and the lamb flat bread. There was about four tiny pieces of meat on each one. Salad with prosciutto in it was good. The service was good, seating is uncomfortable and cramped. I won't go back probably. I'd give it about 3.6 but I wouldn't mark it as 4 stars because that implies a level of quality that just was not there.
This place is incredible. Seven of us went here for a celebration and I was just blown away by the food, space, and overall experience. Everything we had here was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the mains (I had mac and cheese!) to the desserts (ultimate sundaes!). They have this beautiful oven that looks like it should be used for making pizza, but I think they cook a lot of things in there briefly. I'm not complaining! The drinks were also creative and fun. I got egg nog, which came in this little cup (though was quite strong). I passed it around so people could sip and everyone loved it so much that they double sipped and I barely got any. I didn't mind, given the richness of everything else we were eating and the happiness of the day... but I share the story to show how awesome everything was. The space was wide open yet cozy, the service was attentive and generous, and this just felt like a really special meal. I can't wait to be back here, and would recommend it to absolutely anyone.
My wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here and we loved the experience. The one thing I really appreciated was that I visited the restaurant earlier that day for see if I could make some special arrangements, and they were more than accommodating. They even surprised us with a special ice cream plate! We went during the summer, so we sat outside and enjoyed the warm weather. Next time, we will experience the loud and noisy inside. I'm sure the vibrant atmosphere will only enhance the dining experience.
I enjoyed brunch here. My meal was good, but the real treat was the Blueberry Icebox pie for dessert. The restaurant itself is a nice space, as is the converted mill that houses it. I had the pleasure of attending a wedding in the glass blowing studio next-door; the area is just plain charming. If I had one criticism, it would be that sitting up in the loft area gave a good view of how dusty and dirty the walls and ceiling are.
I've been several times. This is an absolute top-notch restaurant. I'm always impressed and delighted by the venue, the service, and the food...and I'm very picky! Simply outstanding.
