Went to Donna's for dinner with my parents. Eh. I had the lamb "burger", which was more of an open-faced pita and a bit dried out. While the cilantro sauce was delicious, it didn't cover the meat evenly. The plating of the dish was quite awkward. There was too much filling (lettuce and onions) and too little pita bread to eat like a sandwich, but it didn't cut easily either. I wound up taking off some of the excess onions and going from there. Half of my hand-cut fries were great, but the other half were burned. They should not have been sent out. I'd rate the whole dish 3/10. My mom had the ribs. They were very tender, and fell right off of the bone. If you don't like sweet barbeque sauce, I'd avoid these. Much more savory than smoky. 8/10. My dad had the salmon. The salmon itself was very well cooked, and plated on a heavy sauce and a heaping amount of rice that almost gave the dish a curry-plating. He said that it was good, but again overpriced ($22). The menu advertises the peas and carrots in the dish, but they are more of a garnish than a side. If you want to get a drink, go with the cocktails. This place doesn't have any beers on tap. An okay selection of bottles, but you can find the same beers fresh on tap at many, many local bars. Verdict: 4.5/10. A place to go with your parents if no one feels like driving and they don't want to eat at any of the more undergrad-focused pizza and pasta joints nearby. Otherwise, there are better places for less money nearby, and better food for the same amount of money a short drive away. And, like many have noted, the kitchen is quite slow.

I've never been impressed by this place, but it's always been popular with Hopkins students. It's probably OK for an iced coffee and a salad, but anything more complicated and you're wasting your money.
