The Ronneburg Restaurant
Reviews
One of the worse dining experiences I've had in years. Service was non-existence. Order over 4 entrees and 4 appetizers just to sample the range of the menu. The signature sauerbraten wasn't properly cooked to melt down the collagen, made it a bit like leather. The chicken schnitzel was coated in a thick, dense, under-seasoned coating. The pickled hams and such were had no fermentation at all. Just seems like poured vinegar over food. Seems like the only folks eating there were elderly and probably did so out of habit. Anyone with any culinary sense should stay away....
I'm surprised to read negative reviews of the Ronneburg. Our family ate there on July 12. Three of us ordered wiener schnitzel and two ordered sirloin steak. We were all pleased with the meal, including the family-style side dishes. The service was fine - no complaints at all. We'd go back again!
Just okay. I think it was marginally better than the Ox Yoke Inn. Good food and the service was just fine, but don't expect top notch German if you've had it before.
Service was OK but salad was brown and the rest of the food was mediocre at best. Felt overpriced as well.
Great place ... this is in a house!!! Museum now but forreal awesomeness!!! Food is great!
