Amazing restaurant. We did a family style meeting with a variety of dishes and pizzas. Just an excellent dining experience. I don't think they promote family style but the server accommodated so, if you can try it. The food is just too good not to sample as much as you can. Make reservations and don't be put off by overworked unattentive hostesses. Once you are in it's heaven with a beer chaser.
This place is beyond! Love the atmosphere, food, drinks, everything! Every pasta and pizza dish I have ordered here has been some of the best food I feel I've ever eaten. The tiramisu is also so damn good. Seriously, come with a group of friends and order a variety of things so you can experience their entire menu.
This is the Spot Matty and his top notch crew offer Creative authentic Italian from the soul . Lots of care goes in to every dish Eat here when you hit Park Ave..my waitress Jessica is incredible..she is super attentive and brims with super positive energy
Would give five stars normally --- food is consistently excellent and service is efficient and friendly. The problem is that their hours are not lunch-customer friendly. They're not open for lunch on Monday or Tuesday but they are open for dinner. But make sure you're there by 3:00 or you're stuck only able to order pizza. That's right, not even a simple Caesar (seriously -- it's greens, croutons and dressing) can be managed as the kitchen "is switching over to dinner." Uh....unless you were there yesterday (June 4, a Wednesday), when the kitchen staff decided to have last call for lunch at 2:45. Gee, sorry you raced over from your office to get that salad ordered by 2:50. Maybe you should call every day to learn today's whims of the kitchen staff. I'm fast reaching the point where the PITA factor isn't worth it (after at least two years of loyal patronage). There are other good places to eat where they cater to the customers' whims, not their own.
Prato has it all. The food was fantastic. The plates are just enough to make you smile while leaving room for their fabulous desserts. The atmosphere is one you must experience. From the wonderful aromas emanating from the open kitchen to the exciting glow of the brick pizza exhibiting the chef as he masterfully crafts the next pizza. Filled with class, Pato is truly wonderful. But wait there is more. What I have to rave about is the service. In my travels, I have experienced restaurants with great food but terrible service. Service is the difference between a classy restaurant and a classless restaurant. Prato gets an A+ in my book. Chelsea was my waitress. She was attentive, knowledgeable, a true gem. Should my journeys take me back to Winter Park, FL. Prato is where I will be returning to recapture an evening I will never forget. Go to Prato, you will love it too.
