This is my second vehicle purchased at Ford of Clermont. They have done all service work to both and I couldn't be more impressed! Not only have they been prompt and professional, they have been honest and upfront. On more than one occasion I have asked about extra work to add while the vehicles were in their hands, and they have recommended I not waste my money on unnecessary service. Can you imagine? A dealership that doesn't want to take your money for the sake of taking your money! The service department didn't just say no, they explained why and did everything in their power to continue to build my trust and create a lasting relationship. The vehicles are great, but the people are what make or break individual dealerships and I feel fortunate to have been steered to go here.
purchased a f350 12/24/14, called service 01/09/2015 stating when truck went into regen it smelled like burning tires or rubber, I was told to bring it in. I get there nobody knows anything about me calling in. service writers were rude, truck sat untouched for 1-1/2 to 2 hours after I talked to the mechanic. they never did answer my question is this doing harm to the truck .after reading the reviews I should have known better then to buy there, and my thought is the service department may need to be changed from the top down. won't matter to me plenty of other auto dealers to buy from. read other reviews and believe them
With my family receiving the X-plan we are always buying Ford. It starts with the 09 f-150 and ends with a 2013 fx4. The 09 was a lemon from day one. The truck was eating tires by the month and Ford kept delaying and sending us elsewhere. They finally pushed me out far enough that the warranty ran out and I say (jokingly) "so basically you are telling me you sold me a lemon and it's no longer your problem". To which she replied "yes"! I end up going to Sun State Ford and they sell me a 2013 FX4 and the sales guy is great (no longer works there) and then they try the high sales tactic to get me to get the extended warranty. That's not a big deal though. I drive off in my new truck and within six months the A/C Compressor goes out! I just spent over 38 thousand dollars and I am driving around Florida with the A/C out on my new truck! The product is junk. So I end up on the Clermont lot and wow. You would have thought they were doing me a favor letting me walk on the property. I get out of my 03 Expedition (another quality lemon product from Ford) and they walk up to me and say " move your truck" the place is empty and my truck is completely out of the way. I walk inside and look at a new Boss Mustang. The guy walks over and is asking me how I could afford a new vehicle. He asks if he could show me some cars on the used lot. I dislike this company so much. I am ready to sell my 65 Mustang so I wont have to see Ford in my driveway anymore! I am going to try my luck on Chevy and see if they would like my business. If you must buy Ford then I suggest starting with Sun State Ford. Oh and when I tried to trade my Expedition in at Sun State Ford they took it out of my sight to look it over. The sales guy comes and says we can only give you this amount because the engine light is on. It never has been on, not one single time. The light comes on from time to time ever since I took it there. So long story short. Do not buy a Ford product.
Service department is a scam. I took my van to check on a check engine light they charge me $100 kept my van for 3 hours and told me it was the transmission. The service guy wants me to set up an appointment to do the transmission for $1500. I took my van elsewhere and the mechanic told it's just bad gas. I went to Autozone and bought a bottle of dry gas and it serve my problem. It only cost me $5 I would never go back to Ford of Clermont.
Excellent customer service from the sales and customer service departments. We are so glad to have such a wonderful dealership in out town!
