I ordered chopped steak(used to be Mothers Chopped Steak) The meat was spoiled. You could smell that it was. I was surprised that neither the chef or the server could tell that it was seriously spoiled meat. No one seemed to care after I complained. I was simply asked what other item I would like to order. The server suggested that I not order the chopped steak again. I'm 66 years old and have dined from LA to Maine, form London to Bankok and I have never been served a dish worse than that one and have never been treated so poorly after I complained. I have dined at this location once a week for several years and I am upset that that crew on that night, made it so that I can never go back.

Best food in the valley in my opinion. Prices are reasonable. Portions are just right. Service has always been very good. Like it a lot!

Went to the Palmdale restaurant for my son's birthday, our party was 6 adults. Two members of the party ordered steaks and the were like leather. Outback claims to serve USDA Choice beef, but I have worked with and cooked enough beef to know that those 2 steaks would barely have been approved as USDA Select grade. We complained to the waiter and he called over the manager. The manager was gracious and offered to replace the steaks, but he stated something that was very disturbing - he stated that the dinner steaks were of a different quality than the lunch steaks. (BTW, we were in the restaurant at 2pm on a Saturday - menu didn't state that our meals were lunch meals) The replacement steaks were a bit better, but still very tough. The quality of their beef was extremely substandard - not USDA Choice as advertized. The other meals, 2 chicken and 1 hamburger, were good - not great, but good. We called their Corporate number and made a complaint. Their regional manager called us within 48 hours and was very concerned about the situation. She said that she would investigate the beef quality and sent us a gift check for the 2 steak meals. We use to go to Outback a lot, but this recent trip was a major disappointment. Sizzler's steaks are far superior to those 2 steak meals we had the last time - and Sizzler uses USDA Select meats.

DON't ever trust the TV ads. Most of the time they do not honor prices in So.CA.
