This place is the place to be on Thursday nights!!!! And actually every other night of the week. Jack the owner is as nice a guy as you will meet.
Shame on Rubens Bar and Grill. Anti-Gay. Security is a bunch of jerks.
My friends and I visited Rubens on 11/10/11. A drunken regular repeatedly harassed with anti-gay hate speech, insulted our looks, and when we asked him to leave us alone he then tried to get other patrons to participate in his hatefulness.
When we asked for the assistance of staff they supported the bigot and told us if we can't get along we needed to leave, us, not him. He was fully welcome to stay.
That is the last dollar that Ruben's will get from me.
Shame on the manager/owner (Im not sure which)who stood idly by while my friends were marginalized for their sexuality.
