Nice outdoor patio with seating. Students (Pepperdine?) studying on a Tuesday morning. Located in a shopping plaza. No beach view, but pleasant.
Totally agree with the last review. Its a Starbucks.. as an appraiser I end up driving throughout Southern California. This is a nice relaxing location with good service and friendly people.
I think people just like to complain. This is a Starbucks. The coffee is good, the decor is typical, the people are friendly, and there's room for sitting and reading and poking at a laptop or tablet. Like most Starbucks, the air conditioning is set to make people uncomfortable so they don't camp here all day long. The music is bland and not too loud, permitting conversation and concentration on the work. Their chicken salad tarragon is actually decent for a packaged sandwich, and the frappacino lite is refreshing. The location is close to the beach, which means their patio seating is very pleasant on a hot day. This is a very nice Starbucks. All you wannabe coffee critics, stop annoying me.
Lots of seating indoor and out. The fish was just okay, but the service fantastic.
Went in the off times, good service, easy parking, nice people. No complaints, it's a Starbucks. Can't beat the beautiful beach location, and easy parking.
