If you want corporate fast food don't eat here. If you want cheap food you should try $5 sandwich at the Subway across the street. If you want tasty Mexican faire at reasonable prices this is the place. The portions are large so the wife and I split the #28A. Vegetarian enchiladas. Yummy. We are salsa sissies and don't like spicy. No complaints about heat here, they can "warm" most any dish for you if like it HOT. Heck the salsa served with the chips was too hot for our taste. So if you are jones'n for Mex we recommend the Bonanza. (Posted by out of towners trying the local eateries)

So hungry for some Mexican food? Like everything in town, the prices were quite high ... my dish was less than good... I ordered the spinach enchilada which was topped with a tomatillo sauce ... it was SOO bitter and acidic that I could barely swallow it(not exaggerating). It was served with rice and black beans ... sin gusto! My friend ordered a combo dish that had an enchilada and a chili relleno, he enjoyed his dish but couldn't finish the chili relleno complaining that there was too much cheese... the salsa wasn't spicy at all (but then again we were in lone pine) ... anyway, ultimately it was a hit and miss...

We ate at the Bonanza on June 30th and it was not a pleasant experience. Everything on the menu was over priced and the food was bland. The refried beans tasted like they were thinned with water. The staff were lacking in personality and skill. The staff were openly talking about their sex and love life in a very unappropriate way. Don't expect a refill on your drink even when it's over a hundred degrees outside.

The best mexican meal that we had on a coast to coast trip. Good price also. Slow service, but its worth the wait because its real food not frozen plastic food.

best nachos ever, slow service??? didn't notice that, because this is Lone Pine....d'oh!
