Brick House Restaurant & Lounge
Reviews
Good burger but not worth 14 dollars (before tip) when you don't get fries with it. Instead you get burnt home made potatoes chips. Place is nice tho and the people working there are genuinely nice. Not phoney smile type. I may come back. Might have to try their pasta. But the prices might keep me from doing it any time soon.
Fun and inexpensive experience. Got there at Happy Hour and ordered everything on the appetizer menu. Would not order the Artichokes or potatoes again everything else was wonderful, especially the coconut shrimp and the cheese and meat dish. Will go back for Sure! The Clayton's
The food is below par and overpriced, not to mention all the alcohol is the price of an upscale restaurant.
The Brick House has a great atmosphere, rockin' live dance music on weekends, wonderfully friendly staff, and very reasonable prices! It's a fun local watering hole and a great place to hang out with friends! I highly recommend the Brick House ......and, no, I'm not related to anyone, here:-)
I was just thinking of coming back here and giving this place another shot. I am meeting up with an old high school friend and this place instantly popped into my mind because of the atmosphere. However, I read a review written by a Hispanic woman who did not have as wonderful an evening as other reviewers on here and, instantly, I flashed back to my initial visit here. Why? Well I am a Hispanic male and and I did not have a wonderful visit either, but my friends did and they are not Hispanic. We went to see a local Sacramento band play here one night after we had our own rehearsal. I ordered the mushroom appetizer. I forget the name, but it is the only one on the menu. After the waitress took my order, I waited for my appetizer and my beer and she seemed to have forgotten all about me. My friends received their beers and she didn't bring mine despite having ordered the same exact beverage as my friend. Once I got my appetizer it tasted a little odd. I was hungry so I didn't notice at first, but all the mushrooms were burnt. My friends and the wife of my one of the band players tasted it after my comment on it and they said it must have been scraped from the bottom of the pan and that I should complain. By this time I was not impressed by the service or the food, but decided to cut the place a break. Maybe the waitress had a long day, maybe the chef did. Either way, my friends were having a great time and I didn't want to be a damper. I was just thinking of coming back here and giving this place another shot. I don't see myself ever coming here again.
