I agree about the atmosphere..it has really nice dark wood.. Handsome bar...BUT!... the food is horrible!. I have tried to like SOMETHING on the menu..but, its impossible. The french rolls for the sandwiches are the cheap soft ones.The texture & taste is like white bread.. when you have a french dip the bread gets SOGGY & MUSHY.. so.. Sandwiches are not a good thing to order there, (until they get some different rolls).... I thought I couldn't go wrong with a nice cold green salad... WRONG!... The lettuce is bagged lettuce with that chemical taste still on it. clearly just pulled out of the bag and not washed, so another MISS!.. I got the special RibEye.... jeeze.. obvisouly a very cheap bulk type steak.. Does the cook even know anything about a Meat Tenderizer?... So to sum it all up... FROZEN, BAGGED, BULK, CANNED FOODS.. very low quality. These people are making money hand over fist on drinks and counting on INTOXICATED PEOPLE TO EAT THIS SLOP. How about putting a little TLC in your food. This place has the potential to have great food.. if they just CARED!.. but obviously they dont!... With just a few changes could be enjoyable maybe... Different Rolls for Sandwiches, Fresh Lettuces (how hard is it really), Better grades of Meat (not talkin prime, you wont go broke, would be better for you in the long run), Fool Proof Specials. If this cook is related, maybe get him a little training..bring in a chef for ONE DAY to troubleshoot what your doing wrong! The neighborhood needs this place to succeed!.. how about.. YOU TRY HARDER! QUIT CUTTING CORNERS ON THE QUALITY OF YOUR FOOD, BECAUSE WE NOTICE! IF YOUR GONNA SERVE FOOD, THEN DO IT RIGHT! SIMPLE!

My wife and I ordered the fish and chips and the special ribeye. The ribeye was so tough I had the cook make another one and the same story with that one too. I took one bite and did not eat the rest. I know what a ribeye looks like and tastes like and that was not a ribeye! I used to rave about the fish and chips, but this time it was completely different. The waitress said they made a change in the fish type and it was horrible. It was greasy and overcooked. I asked the waitress for a manager or the owner and she said the owner is not there and there is no manager. The waitress charged us full price on everything. She said she couldn't credit anything because she would hear about it in the morning. I called the owner, Ben, the next day to let him know what happened last night with our dinner order. He said he is all about customer service and that shouldn't of happened. But then said there is noting he could do to comp me. We will never go there again!

This bar is nice inside, but the food I had was gross and the service sucked. The nachos were soggy and mediocre and the buffalo wings were just gross. Got a shock with the check, too. $20 for a pitcher of beer. Won't be coming back.

Great little place that filled an absent niche in the Pass Area. Nice atmosphere and welcoming decor.

Good food and pretty good service most nights.
