I was there 2 years ago and the food was lacking something. and not very busy. another time I ordered a shrimp and avocado salad, and the shrimp were tiny compared to the picture. the worst part was that they served me moldy bruised avocado. they were cut into weird shapes because they cut off the worst parts. but they didn't even cut off all the discolored avocado. if I was at home and really wanted to salvage an avocado I MIGHT do this. but I would never serve it to a guest. but to be at a restaurant on a special occasion and the waiter gives me attitude about it so that I have to ask for a manager? I will NEVER EVER go back to that place again. The manager didn't even want to take it off the bill. he tried to get me to order something else even though by the time I got to speak with him the rest of the party was almost done eating.
Great late night atmosphere and bar crowd. They serve food late which is rare in this town. Gary the bartender is the shizznet. One of the best there is and he always takes great care of us. Manager Jose keeps us laughing all night long. Really enjoy my times here. And sit in the bar and you won't have to worry about the service. Regarding value, Thursdays are $2.00 Long Island Ice Teas. Nuff said!
Will not return. Wednesdays they offer 30% diccount to seniors. I've been there about 3 times before and we, my wife and I, always order from their "Two For Twenty" choices. Today we were told that is not included in their senior discount. Also the Cole slaw was lousy, nothing but chopped cabbage with no taste whatsoever. Good Bye Applebees. There's to many GOOD restaurants in the pass area now. Oh yes, Service was very poor.
We have eaten there 3 times. We will probably never return because tje services has been slow and we were satisfied with our food only one of or visits. But I think that is typical for a Applebees
