A good Muni. Very walkable. Greens are good and run true. Some narrow fairways, but a fun course overall.
It's great for beginners! The course conditions are 'ok'; they have great tee boxes though! The course doesn't have many hazards and the layout isn't too challenging. The play is evenly paced in the early morning (around 7 - 11). We (a foursome) finished within 3 1/2 hours!
My experience golfing here for someone from out of town and spoiled by lush green manicured golf courses of Michigan was not all that bad. The golf course is a bit easy for an intermediate 7 to 8 hdcp golfer. Excellent course for beginners and golfers working on lowering their hdcp. The greens are good sized greens & well maintained. Some trees and traps would come into play if you're trying to be aggressive. Sand traps are only around the greens. Good approached shorts to the green are important.
Fun course. Staff keeps the game moving. I would like to see them work on the practice putting green,!!!!
