House of Blues
Reviews

Read all the reviews and couldn't possibly think that the negative ones were true. Well we were wrong. The host was arrogant, and the service was nonexistent. The restaraunt was not busy, at least 5 different waitresses, walked by us 5 different times, made eye contact, and nothing. Not one of them stopped by. We walked out and went to ESPN sports grille. Much better.

The HOB is a big venue with lots of room, plenty of bars, and great people watching. Located in Downtown Disney there are lots of eating options before you head in. I've been to a handful of concerts here and I've had a decent time. The drinks are about the same price as any club ($7-$10), and the bartender that served me last time remembered me each time I went up there and made great drinks. I've never been a fan of the acoustics in there though. The couple of shows I've been to I've had a hard time hearing any vocals, and I stood by the sound booth, so you'd think that would be the best place to hear the best sound. It's an all ages venue, so there's lil kids running around too. I won't avoid HOB, but I'm not going to make it my regular stomping grounds.

Service good food disgusting! Whent here with my significant other because we had gone to the house of blues in las Vegas and just loved the food there. While the service was fast and our waitress was super nice our food was gross. I think that if Arron Sanchez would have tasted what they were trying to pass off he would have been ashamed. We order the Jucy Lucy because we had it in Vegas, and it was amazing there. However here it was like eating ground fat that was not even seasoned well. I had the spicy chicken pasta and while the pasta it's self was good the chicken tasted like it was frozen but it wasn't and the seasoning was just bad. Did not finish either one of our plates. Our waitress however was really polite and nice got our food and drinks quick.

Great venue..great drinks..great food.

Three words: WORST VENUE EVER. And I mean EVER. I went to go see The Wanted's concert three days ago and it was pretty bad. I mean the boys themselves were awesome but I couldn't fully enjoy myself because of the venue. First off, the stage itself was way too small. When the opening act, Midnight Red, performed, a couple of the members bumped into each other because there was no room for them to dance. Practically the whole stage was taken up by the band and random instruments. The Wanted would have had ample space to perform if they were a band, but they aren't. However, the biggest problem was the lack of space for the audience. The people who got to stand on the floor were the lucky ones because they could actually see the performances. However, the second story where the rest of the people were was a complete mess. It seemed like everyone was always constantly fighting for a suitable spot because it was very hard to see all of the members from the second story. I could only see two or three people on the stage at once. There are two levels to the second story, however, so those on the first level could see fine but that was a reserved area so the rest of us on the second level could barely see the stage. There was definitely not enough room for everyone up there. I spent most of the concert craning my neck and seeing around other people's heads to try to catch a glimpse of the concert, which I paid money for and excitedly waited for for months. Lastly, it took an unnecessarily long time for the acts to get ready and go on stage. The concert started at seven but the main act didn't perform until nine. Not to mention the fact that there was at least a thirty minute wait between the start and finish of each act. tl;dr: basically the House of Blues SUCKS and I'm not planning on going there again. FACK!
