Great place for vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The hummus was delicious, the falafels too. The place is big, lots of tables, it was probably half full but not noisy. Service was good. Definitely recommend the place
HORRIBLE!!! Service was so bad we left before even trying the food. In one instance after the server was filling people's water, she passed by our table with more than enough water in her pitcher ignored the fact that our table water cups needed to be refilled but when I asked her if I could get some water she told me she would serve me later "yeah, I'll be right back!" (tall slim blonde with a tattoo on her upper thigh and another on her calf) this was already said to us by another server (petite girl with Mohawk hair) who took forever to serve us. By the way this "I'll be right back" was said to us on multiple occasions and they NEVER were. We were there 30 min and only got served water once the whole time. We were so upset we left. I let the host know we were leaving. I really wanted to eat pita. Spoke to the manager and he didn't know what was going on. It wasn't like we had a large party it was just 2 of us. I've been in the service industry and it looked like they were over staffed for the amount people that were there. First time there never going back! Aside from reposting this experience everywhere I can I will be speaking with the GM and corporate.
This Pita Jungle is just like the others in Phoenix. The atmosphere is open and the bar is great, but small. This place can be difficult to park at if you do not know the area or how the one way streets work downtown. They have a great patio outside. The food is great. I always replace the traditional pita with a Greek pita (they are softer like naan).
This is a pretty crowded place. Don't expect to be in and out. make sure you have over an hour to spend if you are going to eat here. Good was pretty good. the Iced Chai Latte was amazing!
I enjoy Pita Jungle for a healthy lunch. Many options beyond the classic pita which are unique and usually very good.
