My wife's new favorite place. She absolutely loves the salmon, says it's the best she's ever had (and she's gets it everywhere) including several places IN Alaska! I've had many items from brisket to chicken to the ribs and all are great, but I always go back to the steak and crab (Saturday nights only). The Q rolls are phenomenal as well. Honestly, about 20 visits and never a bad meal. Got the eclub set up after emailing for a fix, but waitresses have been kind to honor special occasions in spite of coupons presented. This place will satisfy the taste buds every time!
I'm guessing that the people that give this establishment a 4.5 star rating are not used to high quality food. It has more of a sports/western bar feel to it than a restaurant. The Cajun shrimp we ordered as a starter were drowned in some kind of cheap, nasty, flavorless oil.(I'm guessing soy or rapeseed oil) They barely had any flavor, were rubbery. My son ordered the Prime Rib, which was extremely salty. The "corn bread" was obviously deep fried, and super greasy. The bread that came with the Cajun shrimp was horrible, super greasy, with who knows what. My glass of red wine even tasted watered down. I'm so glad I appreciate fine dining. I would rate this place along with other fast food places like The Olive Garden, Mc Donald's, etc. I don't think we'll be going there again. I'm at the point of not wanting to go out to eat anymore. It's all GM, overcooked factory food.
Ok I am going to try and get through this fast because I am heading into a food coma and quick. So my friend and I had dinner tonight and we were seated by the lovely manager Rennie who was just so delightfully cheerful. Then we got the best server in the place Jack. I decided to change it up and get something other than the ribs so I chose the two meat combo. OMG the pork and brisket was to die for and I was not disappointed at all. My food was full of flavor and the meat was tender and juicy you could cut it with a fork. I had chose this plate because my friend ordered the same and she made it sound so good and I was not sorry for not ordering the ribs which are oh so delicious as well. Jack was quick and on top of keeping our drinks filled and making sure we were taken care of so if you decide to dine here ask for him. When we had finished our meal we were pretty full and had opted not to have dessert but Jack was such a sweetie and came out with this heavenly chocolate ice cream cake. I was so full but this cake was just so darn good. I am home now happy and full with my puppy who is licking my bbq scented face lol. I had an extraordinary dining experience and will undoubtedly be back very soon. Sorry no pics were taken because the food was too good I forgot :) next time though.
Wow! As soon as I tasted the corn bread I knew I was in for a treat! This was exactly what I was looking for when it comes to BBQ. I thought I was at a backyard BBQ. The service was awesome. It was down right friendly. Ashlyn, our server, was the best. She treated us like true guests. I will be back and I advise everyone to try out their Bobby Q.
I had a wonderful dinner but after spending over $250 on dinner. We were told that are close with too baggy. Correction I'm sorry I was told that my clothes were too baggy because I was African American. When I was wearing polo khakis dress shoes and a button up polo t-shirt all slim fit. But I must say that the food was four star but on Saturday nights African Americans are not welcome
