Incredibly fresh seafood for a very good price. We only had the shrimp, but they had a pretty big selection of crabs, fish & different types & sizes of shrimp. They also carry a lot of the dry goods you need to complete your meal. **I think they are closed Mondays, though.
We just love Skinners! This is a fish market, but they will steam potatoes, etc. for you if you place an order. The service is great, I've even gotten recipes from them when I didn't know how to cook certain seafoods. They have the "catch of the day," plus lots of fresh shrimp, fish, crab, etc. Prices are reasonable, of course seafood isn't cheap either. Still, you'd be crazy not to buy here!
Very friendly people! The shrimp was off of the charts delicious! Steamed and seasoned when I left the building. Prices were cheap considering how big and fresh the food is. I highly recommend this store.
This is the first place we stop when we get on the island and the last place we stop before heading home. Gary and Juanita are supper nice people.
Great seafood, great prices, we love the food and the staff. Getting 5 lbs of large steamed shrimp for dinner tonight (with corn and potatoes). Not on LeMoyne anymore - moved to Bienville Blvd. just west of the Chevron gas station.
