Went here for lunch with the Mrs. Had the special of the day and ribs. Both were good. Chef brought us complimentary boiled shrimp while we waited. Yummy. Wait staff was punctual, but don't expect fast food service. For Dauphin Island, this is probably your best bet for lunch.
Do not eat here!!! We got there @ 4:25. Got a couple of drinks until the restaurant opened at 5. Was seated at 5. Had to go hunt server down for drink orders. Then had to hunt her down again to order food. Ate appetizer, tables seated after us started getting their food, a party of six actually got their food, ate and left before we got our food. It took an hour for our shrip & grits to arrive & it was all cold. We paid for our drinks & left. Manager sorta, not really, apologized but they were all waiting hand & foot on a table of 20 that came in 15mins after we did.
My wife and I took the ferry, intending to eat @ flamingo Fay's but was closed. We found Islanders & was very pleased. Do the shrimp & grits. You won't be disappointed. I plan on going back today for lunch with a friend. Can't wait.
Great bar food and convenient to the beaches. This bar is a great place for a Cocktail in an island atmosphere.
