Decent value. Not for a super tight budget, though. If you can drink water (which we did not), we had the 4 course meal for $29 each. We both got the cheapest entree because it appealed most to us - they price the 4 course meal by the entree. So our 1) cheesy fondue appetizer (with apples, veggies, bread & chips), (2) nice, small salad, (3) entree (filet, shrimp, chicken & 6 condiments that you cook yourself in broth in your table-top pot) and (4) dessert of chocolate & peanut butter fondue (with pineapple, strawberries, bananas, Graham crumb & chocolate crumb covered marshmallows, Blondies, brownies, pound cake AND rice krispy treats for dipping) was $30 per person. It took about 2 hours and is great if you have good company (which I did). It's about the whole experience. My man was so full I had dessert to myself. And I'm not shy, but I didn't even try all the dessert footers. Too much food. If you have to drink, that's gonna pump your check. I got a milk with dessert ($2.50) but it's very large. We added coq au vin (wine & veggies) to our entree broth (maybe $5 x1), just watch what your doing, study the menu before you go and you'll know what bill you're looking at. Because there is so much to explain & discuss, it's easy for servers to pump the check. Don't hate them, it's their job. I don't feel like we got anything we didn't want. but, I would've been fine with water & not my $7.50 well drink. Just be aware. Like I said, if you're used to being I a budget, study before you go. Really, the cheese & chocolate are the stars. Just go and and have $9 per person cheese OR dessert. You WILL walk away happy!

my friends and i went to the melting pot for her 18th birthday about a week ago. we were the first customers for the night, but it was obvious that we were being looked down on because the staff considered us children and not adults. we only ordered 4 dessert fondues and just for that our ticket was $110. even though we had 4 dessert trays, we had 8 girls total so we each shared with our neighbor. my friend and i that i was sharing with noticed that we didn't get brownies on our tray. we asked our waitress if there was any way we could get our brownies, because obviously we were shorted. the waitress was rude to us, and told us we were lying, we had already eaten them, and she made sure she double checked that each plate had everything it should have on it. Apparently she didn't! I would not recommend the melting pot- the food is good, not great. plus, for the price you have to pay for it, and the waitress' snippy attitude, it isn't worth it. save yourself a little money and go to the cheesecake factory.

My husband and I dined here last weekend during their "Fondue & a Show" promotion. I must say the food is spectacular, the atmosphere is romantic, and the service is stellar!!! I will state to those on a budget: their prices are rather expensive (as we easily spent $150 for ours), but it's well worth the experience! Special thanks to our outstanding waitress, Laura! We'll definitely return soon for another date night!!! :)

Couples night out on (7/28/2012). Our first time(both couples) and was not disappointed. I personally enjoyed everything and would say it's an experience. We went on a Sat. night at 7 and it was not busy. We left at 10pm and the place looked like it was basically empty. I hope they are able to stay in business, but with the prices I guess they make it up in $$ not volume. My husband enjoyed it, but for the money thought we could get better food somewhere else and we wouldn't have to cook it. LOL! Overall a good experience. Don't be put off by price; we plan to go back and maybe do dessert/wine or just cheese fondue when at the Rave to keep cost down. The Big Night Out w/2 glasses of wine + tip was $135. Prices are on their website so be prepared. One more thing; they claim "fine dining". Everyone I saw was dressed very casual.

This place definitely is NOT closed... I just took my husband here for his bday, good food, but not for the price.... Dessert was the best part! Fruit and chocolate!
