I normally like this place. The food is generally good, and service is usually decent. We usually go there once a week or so. But had an interesting experience tonight... the waitress (let me make sure to call her out by name... KELSEY, at least that's what's on my receipt) apparently had a question about my credit card. So instead of asking me about it, she gives my credit card to some barfly that I guess she knows or whatever, and has him inspect it. He's waving MY credit card around, inspecting it, and so forth, and I can hear him say, "I'd ask him for a photo ID!" and so on. My question is... WHY IN THE HELL IS SHE GIVING MY CREDIT CARD TO SOME RANDOM PERSON AT THE BAR??? What in the hell is she thinking? There could have been a hundred ways to address this, but she chooses to give my credit card to a random person at the bar. Hmm... really? She claims he "grabbed it out of her hand" when I asked her what the hell she was doing. Again, really??
Consistently good service and cajun food. Decorations and music add to the bayou atmosphere. Have never had anything bad here but my favorite dish is the Catfish Pontchartrain.
Absolutely awful...not only is the food overpriced for the portion, but the bartender (who I assume is in charge) is rude, condescending, and failed to take my order the first twenty minutes I sat there because she was engrossed in gossip with a customer/friend about the staff on the previous shift...I used to eat here frequently and recommend this place to friends, but I personally think that whoever owns the place needs to train their staff in customer service and hospitality, especially at those prices
Had the green tomatoes app and was too sweet. Had the hot wings "tiger" is their hottest. They were sweet not hot. Disappointed.
Cajun outside Louisiana is dicey, but it was good here. More expensive than it should be but very good service.
