I have been eating at Jim n Nick's for about twenty years, but for the first time the service was the worst ever. We didn't get all of our food, and it took the waiter about 15min to check on us. We ordered deserts to go when we got our banana it was just form.. This makes me not want to ever go again. But I willing give this location a Chance to redeem themselves. Oxmore rd.
This is no doubt some of the best BBQ in America. And I would know. I gave it 4 because I prefer creamy slaw instead of vinegar. That's just a preference I guess but a choice would be nice. Not that anyone else has a choice either tho.
I had the Baby back ribs, Mac n cheese, baked beans, A Palmer to drink and coconut cream pie for dessert!! The baked beans and Mac n cheese are to die for!!!!! The Ribs were good I'm just not a fan of their BBQ sauces... The pie was great as well... This was an awesome meal for someone who has never been to Birmingham. If I ever pass thru again i will be sure to eat here again!!
Good BBQ but overpriced I'm from Florida and I've had BBQ from all regions of the US. The BBQ was good, but it was overpriced for the portions. I asked for sliced pork and all they offered was pulled pork. The portion of meat I was given was less than a 1/4 pound and came with 2 sides. Price not including a drink was 15.00 . When did a 1/4 pound of BBQ pork start costing as much as a steak ??? Good food but overpriced.
Great spot for a casual business lunch. I had the double decker with mac n cheese. Everyone said their meal was delicious. The service was friendly and fast. I like this place because it is consistent. Saw Chipotle Tabasco for the first time. The cheese biscuits are worth coming back for.
