I asked for extra, extra chicken on a greek salad but didn't receive the extra chicken. One of the female waiters promised us that she would change the wedges to chips (for the barramundi dish) and said "we'll only do it for this time", but didn't deliver. Not going there again.
We had my daughter's christening at La Rumbla on the weekend and it was just perfect. A special thanks to Nick for creating a wonderful menu to suit what we wanted. Gulia was a fantastic help in organising and meeting to all our needs. A big thankyou to Dimitri and the staff whom on the day catered to all our needs and went out of there way to make everything run smoothly, all our guests were happy and commented on the great food and service here at La Rumbla. I would highly recommend this restaurant for its friendly, professional atmosphere and the food is delicious, we will be back for future events :-)
Great Seafood, great pizzas great food altogether, had a function there last Friday service and atmosphere were awesome highly recommended!!!

* HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED Very upset with the food - ordered 2x Chicken avocado and was served with overcooked sauce that tasted like mustard with chicken breast 2/ Spaghattie Marinara - my wife had to leave home (you guess the rest) 3/ A medium well steak came rare - the waiter was very understanding and apologetic and got it fixed. Overall staff was okay, however they seemed to be understaffed which is not their fault. The bill came with the chicken avocado and the manager is arguing that this how they cook it. He told me that he tasted MY MEAL and that was their best selling meal. Well i have some news for you - as a manager the attitude was absolutely shocking. The meal is not right and it would be okay if the sauce was not over cooked and tasted like burnt thickened cream / mustard. I work with some of the largest restaurants in Sydney and Newcastle and have to say i would not have had any problems even the food was not right as we ordered something else; but i do have a problem with the attitude of the manager. The prices were not cheap either - but more than happy to pay for good food and service. Same your money or take it somewhere else
