August 2014 - Ate breakfast. The food was good, what I expected. The service was good. The decor was bland, and there was no booths so we had to eat at a table. The prices were average. Overall it was a good experience but lacked a "wow" factor, such as huge portions, amazing food, good view, etc. I would eat here again.

The room was clean, atmosphere inviting, and the decor reflects a True authentic American Diner. We were greeted and well cared for by a Very friendly and attentive waitresses. I tried the vegetarian breakfast and I was thrilled with the food and the plating. I received Very generous portions and it was hot and fast getting it out. An astounding mouthwatering experience! Recommended! And when you go be sure to be friendly with the waiter/tresses so you get the best service as apparently there have been very rude customers in the past.

It's clear the owners of this restaurant feel they have plenty of business. We arrived at 9:30 on a beautiful Saturday morning and were waitress who abruptly stated, "We are full!" We were told it would be a half hour wait and said ok... After standing in the waiting area for a moment, the waitress who also turned out to bethe owner very rudely stated, what I'm trying to tell you is we are full... Please leave and come back at around 10:15. The manner was stern, and highly offputting. I am very patient and understanding of the stress people are under when working in the service industry, but when I discovered this individual was the owner, I was shocked. I wish them all the luck in the world - they will certainly need it with that attitude. Take your business to people who hard to earn it. The waitress at the Mutineer is very nice!

If I could give a zero, I would. When we walked in the door, a waitress walked by and rudely snapped that they were full. Another woman, who I later learned was the owner, told us it would be a 30 minute wait. As we stood, out of the way, waiting for a table, we were then told VERY rudely by the owner that we could not wait in the restaurant. After we left, I returned to tell her that we would not be coming back due to the rude manner in which we were treated. The owner actually said "Oh well" and shrugged her shoulders at me. A person like that does not deserve our business and we will never be back. There are other places in town.

Good breakfast spot. Skip lunch. Ordered hamburger without American cheese because I hate fake cheese. They said they could make it Swiss. Swiss to them was white American cheese. Terrible.
